Education

Most people just don't know what they don't know about Medicare, and this goes beyond even just veterans. It is our job to make sure you leave a meeting with us more educated about everything Medicare. Whether you have questions about Original Medicare (A and B), or want to understand how the different types of plans work, or even if you want to know if you need Medicare along with VA benefits, we want to educate you so that you feel that you better understand, which would lead to better decision making.

How Do We Educate?

Every situation is different and we want to meet you at your point of need. As such, we offer individual appointments, group appointments, group classes, and even internet-based appointments. Medicare is not a one-size-fits-all system, and our goal in our first meeting with you is to find out what "size" fits you and your exact needs.

We can use a variety of ways to educate including pre-made, compliant presentations, handouts, and summaries of benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do you charge for your services?
A: Nothing. You will NEVER pay for our services.

Q: Where will we meet to discuss all of this?
A: Anywhere you feel comfortable. We have met with clients at our offices, in their homes, at coffee shops, at VFWs, amongst other places.

Q: How long is the educational process?
A: Our goal is to present all information necessary in under an hour.

Q: After the education, can you enroll me in a plan?
A: Yes! Being independent, we will quote many different plans at the same time, and find the best plan for you.

Q: Who do I call if I have questions beyond our initial appointment?
A: A relationship is our goal, and we want to make sure that you have multiple sources to get answers from. You will have our contact information to ask us or anyone on our team whatever questions you may have.

Q: What do I do next year if I want to change my plan?
A: Again, our goal is to walk with you on your Medicare journey, including making yearly changes if we together find that to be necessary.

Q: Do you know that VA system as well as TriCare For Life?
A: Absolutely! In addition to being licensed in multiple states to sell insurance, and taking yearly fraud, waste, and abuse certifications, we have also had specific training on the VA and TriCare For Life from representatives who are familiar with those programs (as some even benefit from them).

Medicare Disclaimer: We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1–800–MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
